The number of lessons, location of practices, time of day for lessons, and more is not set in stone - we have a conversation and figure out what works best for you!
I am starting this small business, driven by my passion for dance and love of helping people feel amazing on their wedding day. My prices are affordable and my experience will feel like learning from a friend in a very casual way. About Me
My name is Becca Sabaitis, and my dance journey began six years ago when I finally took the leap into ballroom dancing. From the very first lesson, I fell in love—it felt like discovering a missing piece of myself.
In 2023, I married my wonderful husband and decided to choreograph our own first dance. In that moment, I found another passion: creating meaningful, personalized wedding dances. Our first dance was a success, and soon after, friends and family began asking me to choreograph theirs as well.
What brings me the most joy and fulfillment is helping couples feel confident, relaxed, and truly themselves on the dance floor. Your first dance should be stress-free, fun, and a reflection of YOU—no rules, no pressure, no boundaries. Whether you want something simple or complex, I’m here to help bring your vision to life and teach you steps that feel natural and authentic to your relationship and honor you as a couple.

Altar to Abrazo
The name Altar to Abrazo is inspired by “Abrazo”, the name of the partner hold in Argentine Tango. It means the hug or embrace! More formally, it is described as “an intimate, communicative connection between partners, fundamental to the dance, allowing for subtle, non-verbal improvisation and emotional expression, unlike the more rigid Ballroom Tango; it involves a fluid, chest-to-chest contact, always maintaining that core of connection through touch, music, and shared breath.”
This hold and style is symbolic of the intimate and special experience of a first dance as a married couple; a feeling I hope to weave into all choreography! To me, dancing is one of the purest forms of living in the moment, where everything else can fade away and you can let all emotions free. One where vulnerability and connection with your partner is a trustworthy and beautiful kind of communication. What story do you want to tell?
Argentine Tango will always be special to me, as it is the style that inspired me want to start ballroom dance lessons - I knew I needed to incorporate a term from the style in our name!
